MAKE GOOD USE OF THE OPPORTUNITY THAT COMES ON YOUR WAY.

One may ask why this message. At times our good Lord does give us so many opportunities to turn us from our bad deeds, but we don't realize it. 

Let’s take a good look at Judas Iscariot. He was among the last twelve disciplines that Jesus worked with. According to the Bible, Jesus first chose 120 disciples and later reduced them to 72.

Finally, Jesus selected only 12 disciplines yet Judas was included. We all know Judas to be number one thief. Jesus could have exempted him, but a valuable opportunity was given to him in order for him to change his life for the better.

  JOHN 12 VS 4-7 reads, 4 But Judas Is·cari·ot,

One of his disciples, who was about to betray him, said:

5“Why was it this perfumed oil was not sold for three hundred denari and given to the poor people?”

6 He said this, though, not be-cause he was concerned about the poor, but because he was a thief and had the money box and used to carry off the monies put in it.

7 Therefore Jesus said: “Let her alone, that she may keep this observance in view of the day of my burial.

This took place six days before the passover, Jesus arrived at Bethany, where Lazarus was whom Jesus had raised up from the dead. Therefore they spread an evening meal for him there, and Marthad was ministering,

Mary, therefore, took a pound of perfumed oil, genuine nard, very costly, and she greased the feet of Jesus and wiped his feet dry with her hair .The house became filled with the scent of the perfumed oil.

Judas did ask the perfume to be sold and donate the money to the poor. Deep within him, he was lying. He wanted to sell the perfume and keep the money.

At the last end Judas sold everything and sold Jesus out; thinking that Christ has the power to rescue himself. But when he realized that the Messiah did nothing to rescue himself. He regretted his action and killed himself with a rope.

Moses also behaved in similar manner. Moses was known as keeping his father-in-law’s flock. God picked him up and used him miraculously. But due to the quick temperedness of Moses, he did go the promise land.

God gave both Judas and Moses chances to change their reactions’ in Christ but they did not. As Christian we truly know that some of our reactions are bad. But we still keep on repeating these reactions hoping that so far as we are in Christ we are “Royals”.

The Lord God is telling you at this hour that we should change from our bad ways, as we flourish. Because been luxurious does not mean that God is good with us.

NIGRERIA RATES HIGH IN SKIN BLEACHING IN AFRICA.

 

According to the World Health Organization, 8 out of 10 Nigeria women bleach their skin.
Gradually, skin bleaching is taking over Africa and the ease at which skin bleaching products can be obtained has made it worst.
The stigma attach to skin bleaching which served as a sort of block in Africa has died off—-and today, you cannot even tell if a person is bleaching or not as most opt for untraceable modern creams/pills.

And famous Nigerian musician -Femi Kuti supports my all time argument that-skin toning is the same as skin bleaching, just that people like Yvonne Nelson and the millions out there are trying to avoid societal criticisms by calling their sort of skin bleaching-skin toning!

“I’ve heard people say, I do not bleach, I just tone by skin.”
I have seen people buy skin toning creams and they think it is cool. You know what, the application of anything/cream to your skin to change its colour or transform your skin from the original state to a new state (no matter how little the change will be) is SKIN BLEACHING.

Aljazeera recently took a look at Nigeria’s booming skin bleaching market and shockingly, they mentioned that what a staggering statistic!
Have you realized that all these people who bleach/tone their skin have some funny smell following them?
I am told that MOST of the mixed race people, especially the celebrities who live in tropical Africa bleach too—just to be able to keep their light skin…
Have you noticed the difference between Majid Michel’s skin and that of Nadia Buari? They’ve all live in Ghana, under the same scorching sun…right?

DAVID VILLA; GUAJE NOW AND BEFORE.

 David Villa was born in Tuilla and brought up in the gentle but hard working province of Asturias, he is affectionately named as ´Guaje´ in the football world, spent his childhood attached to a football. Very few people remember an image of  David not kicking a ball. Villa has become an idol for many football fans due to a successful career in all categories.

He  always had the support of  his family, his father believed he had potential and is a constant and vital support in the footballer’s life.

His first team was Langreo, where he suffered an injury to his right leg and as a result, he began to work on strengthening his left leg.

His attitude proved positive, but being a discreet and introverted person, home-loving and family orientated, he was quite shy about his success in climbing ladders in the world of football and his repute extended throughout the sporting world.

After Langreo he joined the Mareo School, at only 17 years old. Real Sporting would then become his team and there he played for the Youth team, the reserve B team and finally made his first appearance for the first team during the 2001/02 season.  For two years he defended Sporting’s colours in the Second Division, following in the steps of his idol, Enrique Castro `Quini´.

In 2003  Real Zaragoza noticed his footballing qualities and signed him up in during summer.  At Zaragoza, he made his debut for the National team. The now famous chant “Illa, illa, illa, Villa Maravilla” (Marvellous Villa) could be heard at the Romareda stadium during every home game from then on.

Just before the 2005/06 season began, and with numerous offers on the table, ´Guaje´ signed for Valencia CF.  The Club paid the get-out clause of his contract with Zaragoza, set at 12 million Euros, and his talent became evident in Spain and in Europe. During that first season he scored 25 goals for Valencia and was the second highest goal scorer in the League. In the following two seasons he scored 15 and 18 goals in League matches.

That season he is moving towards a goal-scoring record, reaching the level of previous Valencia legends such as Kempes, Waldo and Mundo, the latter being the highest goal scorer in Valencia CF’s history.

The 2011-12 season also started on the right foot, but was stopped unexpectedly on the 15th of December of 2011 in the Club World Cup semifinals. Guaje fractured his tibia and he was forced to say goodbye to the season. In fact, though he worked tirelessly in the recovery, he could not be available to Vicente del Bosque to participate in the European Championship in Poland and Ukraine in 2012.

Villa reappeared with FC Barcelona in August of 2012 and since then; he has been adding games and goals to show that he is once again the lethal striker before the injury. He has also regained his prominence with the ´Roja´ and he is helping with goals his team and the National Team. Another proof of his spirit of excellence and tremendous character, always in the service of his club and the Spanish National Team. 

NATIONAL TEAM

His debut with the Spanish National Team was in Almería on 9th February 2005 in a World Cup 2006 qualifying match. Spain was playing against Ukraine and Guaje scored twice. His inclusion in the National team would then be in no doubt and in Euro Cup 2008 he became a National football idol. Now, he is the top scorer in the history of de Spanish team and has won a World Cup and a Eurocup.


FAMILY LIFE

David has been married to Patricia since 2003 and they have two daughters together named Zaida and Olaya and one son, Luca. As a lover of the Asturias countryside and the traditions of his hometown, Tuilla, David is a kind-hearted family man and extremely supportive of those in need.  His humility and warmth is valued by those who support him, his family and friends.
David has a strong sense of comradeship. He is respected in the dressing room and admired by his fans.  He has a high respect for his colleagues in his day to day work and much loved in the football world.
